1. WHO WE ARE

These terms apply to website design, development and related services provided by MaxFP. By requesting a preview or engaging us, you agree to them.

2. WHAT WE DO

MaxFP builds new websites and rebuilds existing websites for home-service and local service businesses. Depending on the package we may also set up local SEO foundations, Google Business Profile connection, analytics and conversion tracking.

3. THE SEE-IT-FIRST MODEL

We build your website preview before you commit to buying it.

• $0 is due before you see your preview.
• 50% is due when you approve the website.
• 50% is due at launch, when the website is live.

If the preview is not right for you, you are under no obligation to proceed and nothing is due.

4. TIMING

Our target is to launch within 72 hours of your approval. This is a target, not a guarantee. It depends on the package, on how quickly you supply anything we ask for, on domain and DNS changes outside our control, and on any custom requirements agreed during the process.

5. OWNERSHIP

• Your website belongs to you. The design, content and code are yours once final payment is made.
• Your domain belongs to you. Where we register a domain on your behalf it is registered in your name.
• Third-party components such as fonts, stock photography and software libraries remain subject to their own licences.

6. HOSTING

Standard hosting, an SSL certificate, backups, basic security and basic uptime monitoring are included with every package at no additional monthly cost. Domain registration and renewal, and any external paid software you choose to use, may be charged separately.

7. ONGOING SERVICES

Managed Care

An optional monthly service covering website edits, minor text and content changes, photo and project updates, review updates, technical maintenance, backup monitoring, basic reporting and priority support. Scope is up to 60 minutes of standard website changes per month. Unused time does not roll over. This is not unlimited edits.

Local Growth

An optional monthly service that includes Managed Care plus active local SEO work, Google Business Profile management, content development, monitoring and monthly reporting.

Local Authority

An optional add-on. Each active month includes 5 verified placements such as legitimate business citations, relevant local directories, industry sources and appropriate regional placements. You receive a report with live placements.

Cancellation

Monthly services can be cancelled with 30 days notice. Your website remains yours.

8. NO PERFORMANCE GUARANTEES

This is important and we will not soften it. MaxFP does not guarantee:

• Google rankings or page-one placement
• Search traffic volumes
• Leads, calls, quote requests or revenue
• Indexing of any citation or placement
• Increases in domain rating or any third-party metric

Search engines are controlled by third parties and their behaviour changes. We commit to the work described in your package, carried out to a professional standard, not to a specific outcome.

9. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Give us accurate business information.
• Make sure you own or have permission to use any logos, photos, text or reviews you supply.
• Make sure your business holds any licences, insurance or registrations your trade requires.
• Respond to approval requests within a reasonable time.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content that appears on your website.

10. REVIEWS AND REPUTATION

We can help you build a repeatable process for asking genuine customers for reviews. We do not write, buy or generate fake reviews, and we do not promise a specific number of reviews.

11. REBUILDS AND EXISTING SEO

When rebuilding an existing website we work carefully to preserve existing organic authority, valuable URLs and content structure, and we discuss this with you before starting. Search performance after any rebuild still depends on factors outside our control.

12. REVISIONS

Reasonable revisions are included before launch. Substantial changes of direction after approval, or new pages and features outside the agreed package, may be quoted separately or covered by Managed Care.

13. LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with our services is limited to the fees you have paid us for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your rights under the Australian Consumer Law where those apply.

14. TERMINATION

Either party may end the relationship in writing. Fees for work already completed remain payable. If final payment is not made, the website is not transferred and may be taken down.

15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page on the date of your engagement.
